MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – American Airlines has been approved for a contract with Veteran’s Airport of Southern Illinois.

The contract calls for 12 round-trip flights every week between Marion and Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

The service was selected for a two year term beginning August 1, 2026 and runs through July 31, 2028.
