JACKSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A man is now charged with murder in connection to a domestic disturbance investigation in De Soto,

Marcus Moultrie was originally charged with two counts of attempted murder after a woman and a juvenile were sent to the hospital for injuries Wednesday, May 13. Those charges have now been amended to two first-degree murder charges after the juvenile has passed away.

Moultrie is due in court May 19 for his preliminary hearing.

This is an ongoing investigation.
