In 2000, the 10th Rock for the Rainforest concert took place at Carnegie Hall in New York. The lineup included Sting, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Elton John, Billy Joel, Sam Moore, Tom Jones, and others. The event raised $2.5 million for the Rainforest Fund.
In 2001, Kiss played the final show of their Farewell Tour in Australia on the Gold Coast. It was the band’s last show with guitarist Ace Frehley. Two years later, Kiss hit the road again for their World Domination Tour.
