MASSAC COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A Kentucky man has been arrested in a 1984 murder in Massac County.

76 year old George Bradfield of Owensboro has been arrested and charged for the murder of 26 year old Lisa Ann Carnes.

Carnes was found dead in a field in Massac county on March 30, 1984. Her cause of death was a gunshot wound to the chest. She also had signs of blunt force trauma to the head.

Bradfield was charged with five counts of murder on Friday April 24.
