On this day in music history…

In 1975, Sly & The Family Stone played the first of eight concerts at Radio City Music Hall in New York. That lineup of The Family Stone dissolved shortly after the Radio City Music Hall shows.

In 1992, Eric Clapton performed an intimate set at Bray Film Studios in England for MTV Unplugged. Clapton would release the performance as a live album later that year, simply titled Unplugged.

Listen for Herman’s Music Minute weekdays at 6:35am, 12:35pm and 4:35pm on 95.1 STEVE-FM!
