POPE COUNTY Ill. (WJPF) – The endangered missing person advisory for Jerry Harris has been called off after a body was found in Pope County.

Harris has been missing since Monday. Multiple agencies and volunteers have been searching for him over the past few days. A volunteer searcher discovered the body yesterday afternoon.

The Pope County Coroner is working to identify the remains.
