MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – Sparks from a welding job at Marion’s Drury Inn were likely the cause of a rooftop fire earlier this week.

Smoke was seen coming from the roof of the five story hotel around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The fire was contained to the roof.  No injuries were reported.
