Murphysboro coach Gary Carter is taking a hard look at his offense now that his star running back, Tyjaire Kellum, is out for the rest of the season.  He and the voice of the Red Devils, Matt Varney, discussed what the offensive game plan is headed to Harrisburg this Saturday afternoon and more.

Sesser-Valier-Waltonville co-head coach John Shadowens talked with Matt Varney on Thursday ahead of the Red Devils' huge Quarterfinals matchup this Saturday afternoon.  It's the first time the Red Devils have reached the IHSA Quarterfinals since 1991.  The pair discussed SVW's dominant offense and this weekend's huge game vs. Greenfield that the Red Devils will be hosting.

Matt Varney caught up with John A. Logan softball coach Taylor Seifert on Thursday.  The pair discussed Logan Softball picking up Zeigler-Royalton ace Hayley Pasquino and Red Bud standout Lyla Hess on signing day, the new Player Development Center that is set to be built at John A. Logan College, and how the Fall 2023 season went.

The Lady Vols opened the season at State Fair Community College last week going 0-2.  Despite that, Coach Charlie Jones sees reason to be encouraged in his young team.  He and star center Cheyenne Trotter joined Talkin Vols on Tuesday.
