In 1985, Madonna topped the singles chart with “Crazy for You” from the Vision Quest soundtrack. “Crazy for You” was Madonna’s second number 1 single. Madonna had a cameo role in Vision Quest as a nightclub singer.
In 1995, a concert in memory of Stevie Ray Vaughan took place in Austin, Texas. The tribute concert was hosted by Austin City Limits. The show’s all-star lineup included Eric Clapton, Dr. John, Bonnie Raitt, Jimmie Vaughan, B.B. King, Robert Cray, Buddy Guy, and Art Neville.
