In 1981, Rush released their eighth studio album, Moving Pictures. The album peaked at number 3 on the chart in the U.S. In the band’s native Canada, Moving Pictures was their first chart-topping album.
In 1999, Bob Dylan performed for a crowd of nearly 4,800 people at SIU Arena in Carbondale, Illinois. Dylan had played SIU Arena twice before, in 1978 and 1990. The Brian Setzer Orchestra was the opening act.
