In 1992, Van Halen performed for a crowd of about 8,400 people at SIU Arena in Carbondale, Illinois. The band was touring in support of their For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge album, which was charting at number 52 at the time of the concert. Baby Animals was the opening act.
In 2008, Lenny Kravitz released his eighth studio album, It Is Time for a Love Revolution. It debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200, making it Kravitz’s first studio album to chart in the single digits.
