Carbondale Firefighters Local 1961 donated $1,600 to the SIH Cancer Institute Patient Care Support Fund this week.

The money was raised through the union’s annual breast cancer awareness T-shirt fundraiser. Firefighters presented the donation to SIH representatives during a check presentation.

“Thank you to all of you for your continued support,” the union said in a social media post.
