A Cape Girardeau man has been found guilty on multiple child sex assault charges.

Prosecutors say 44-year-old Brandon Tipler was convicted by a jury on two counts of first-degree statutory rape and one count of first-degree statutory sodomy. The case involved two girls, ages 11 and 12, in an incident that happened back in February of 2022.

Tipler is scheduled to return to court for sentencing on December 23rd. He faces up to 90 years in prison.
