Marion Police say a 60-year-old man is in jail after a strange burglary spree where he reportedly bathed and did laundry inside the homes he broke into.

Officers were called Saturday afternoon to the 700 block of North Logan Street for a break-in, followed minutes later by another report nearby. Police later found the suspect, Leslie Clover, on North Washington Street and arrested him after a brief chase.

Investigators say Clover admitted to multiple burglaries — including showering and washing clothes at the victims’ homes before leaving.

He’s now facing several charges, including burglary and theft. Clover is being held at the Williamson County Jail as he awaits a court appearance.
