CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WJPF) – The death of a Carterville man is under investigation although police say foul play is not suspected at this time.

The body of Alvin Thomas, 35, was found Monday morning in the backyard of a home on Timber Trail Road.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
