Carbondale police have arrested a driver in connection with a hit-and-run crash that happened Wednesday evening.

Officers say around 7 o’clock, they located a victim in the 600 block of East Campus Drive. The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale with life-threatening injuries.

Police say the vehicle involved in the crash was found abandoned near the scene. The driver, 37-year-old Alexis L. Locke, was later taken into custody, according to the Carbondale Police Department.
