In 1972, Paul McCartney & Wings played their first concert at the University of Nottingham in England. This was the first show of the Wings University Tour, which consisted of 11 impromptu performances at universities across the U.K.
 

 
In 1990, Midnight Oil released their seventh studio album, Blue Sky Mining. While the album peaked at number 20 in the U.S., it was the third number 1 album in a row for the Oils in their native Australia.
