The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary at Mac’s Spirits and More and Gaming along Highway 37.

Deputies were called to the business around 3:13 Tuesday morning and found it had been forcibly entered. A gaming machine was damaged, and an unknown amount of cash was taken.

Investigators say surveillance video shows a suspect wearing a dark hoodie and mask using a small sledgehammer. The suspect is believed to have fled in a stolen red 2012 Ford F-150.

That truck was reported stolen from an auto shop in West Frankfort, where another burglary also occurred.
