Herrin Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest

Williamson County Sheriff’s Deputies made a drug-related arrest following a traffic stop in Herrin early December 26th.

Deputies stopped a vehicle near Oak and 22nd Streets and reported seeing open alcohol containers inside. During a probable-cause search, deputies say a passenger, Lucille Odam, was found in possession of methamphetamine and hypodermic syringes.

Odam was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
