Du Quoin Unit 300 has announced it will end several after-school programs starting December 18th.

The cuts include multiple high school clubs, tutoring support, and K through 8 after-school programs and related activities.

The superintendent said the district understands the impact this will have on students and families, stressing the decision is not a reflection of the programs themselves, but the result of grant funding cuts beyond the district’s control.
