Carbondale police are investigating a shots-fired incident reported Thursday evening in the 700 block of West College Street.

Officers were called to the scene around 7:07 p.m., but police say the suspect or suspects had already left by the time they arrived.

Authorities report that two Black males were seen running east from the area following the gunfire.

No injuries were reported, however police say at least one vehicle was struck by bullets.

The investigation remains active, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Carbondale Police Department.
