18-Year-Old Charged After Shooting Incident in Sesser

Police say 18-year-old Dreyden Phillips is facing charges after he allegedly struck another vehicle and fired several shots near Jordan Avenue and South Locust Street. No injuries were reported.

Deputies later found the suspect vehicle around 11:45 p.m. on County Line Road near Old Johnston City Road at the Franklin–Williamson County line. Phillips and two others in the vehicle were detained.

Phillips was taken to the Franklin County Jail on charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and aggravated assault.
