In 1984, The Jacksons played the final concert of their Victory Tour at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The Victory Tour was the highest-grossing tour of the year, making a total of $75 million. It was the only tour to feature all six Jackson brothers performing together.
In 2023, Brenda Lee topped the singles chart with “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” Lee had released a new music video for the song the previous month. At the age of 78, she became the oldest artist to go to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and she broke the record again the following week after she turned 79. Lee had recorded “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” 65 years earlier, when she was only 13 years old.
