Two federal judges have ordered the Trump administration to keep funding SNAP.
The rulings came just one day before the U.S. Department of Agriculture was set to freeze SNAP payments, saying it had run out of money to keep the program going.
It’s still unclear how quickly the debit cards used by recipients can be reloaded — that process can take up to two weeks.
Former President Trump said on social media the government will follow the court’s orders, but warned there could still be delays while states process the payments.
