One person is dead and another injured after a crash involving two truck-tractor semi-trailers on I-24 in the eastbound lanes early Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 2:27 a.m. south of Rosebud Road. State police said both vehicles caught fire following the collision and one of the drivers was declared dead at the scene. The other driver was flown to a nearby hospital for treatment.
