A barricaded subject in Carbondale, on Monday has been detained.

According to the Carbondale Police Department, officers were called to the 200 block of N. Wall Street a little after 10 a.m. on October 20 for a dispute between two people.

During the fight, police said the suspect reportedly pointed a gun at the other person.

when officers arrived, the suspect had already left the scene and went inside a vacant building in the 500 block of E. Jackson St.

Officers then set up a perimeter around the building and began negotiations. Police said the suspect eventually left the building and was detained sometime before 1:30 p.m.

Officers found no guns and nobody was injured.
