In 1990, George Michael released his second studio album as a solo artist, titled Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1. Michael produced the whole album himself, and he wrote or co-wrote all of the songs but one. The album shot up to number 2 on the U.S. albums chart and topped the chart in Michael’s native U.K. Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 2 was reported to be coming the next year, but it was never released.
In 2022, Foo Fighters hosted the first of two star-studded tribute concerts in memory of drummer Taylor Hawkins, who had died unexpectedly earlier that year. The first concert took place in London at Wembley Stadium. The lineup included Liam Gallagher, Nile Rodgers, Wolfgang Van Halen, Pretenders, James Gang, Brian Johnson, Stewart Copeland, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Brian May, Roger Taylor, Paul McCartney, and others.
