Marion High School announced the hiring of a new Bass Fishing head coach Tuesday night in John Owens.

Marion’s Bass Fishing team qualified for Regionals last year but fell just short of the cut line to advance to Sectionals.

The Wildcats Bass Fishing team has a strong roster led by senior and 2025 Bassmaster High School Classic champion Landon Gabby.
