Representative Paul Jacobs has launched his campaign for 59th District State Senate Seat.

Jacobs has served in the Illinois House since 2021. He is pro-life, a defender of the Second Amendment, and has opposed tax hikes as well as Illinois’ sanctuary city and sanctuary state policies. 

Jacobs will be seeking the Republican nomination in the primary election scheduled for March 2026, with the general election in November 2026.

Jacob’s announcement follows the announcement that Senator Dale Fowler will not seek re-election as State Senator of the 59th district.
