DUQUOIN, Ill. (WJPF) – A former teacher in the DuQuoin School District has been arrested on charges of possession and dissemination of child pornography.

Jon Montgomery, now 70, taught junior high band for over 25 years, retiring in 2011.

He was arrested on Wednesday on 7 counts of possession of child pornography and 4 counts of dissemination of child pornography. Illinois State Police say the victims were under the age of 13.
