Du Quoin, Ill. (WJPF) – Police in Du Quoin are investigating a series of vehicle burglaries.

The burglaries have occurred within city limits over the past week and after reviewing surveillance footage from residents and businesses, officers have identified several juvenile suspects.

Officials plan to file charges on the juveniles and have sent all case documents to the Perry County State’s Attorney’s Office for review.

Any residents with information or surveillance footage relevant to the investigation or who have experienced vehicle burglaries should contact the department.
