Tuesday morning, Steeleville girls basketball coach Clint Cowan announced he had accepted the position of Athletic Director at Steeleville.

Cowan says he will remain girls basketball coach at the school. He led the program to a 12-16 finish in his first season at the helm, concluding in a double overtime 56-49 loss to Gibault Catholic in the New Athens 1A Regional.
