BENTON, Ill. (WJPF) – At least one person is in custody after six vehicles were stolen from a Saline County auto dealership.

Sometime late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, thieves broke into the Jim Hayes dealership in Harrisburg.

At least one of the stolen vehicles was involved in a high speed chase and crashed early Wednesday morning into a retaining wall surrounding the courthouse on the Benton Square.

Few other details have been released about the incident.
