CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – Carbondale Police are looking for the driver of a silver SUV after a pedestrian was severely injured in a hit-and-run.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of East Walnut Street.

Using traffic cameras mounted at intersections and privately owned security cameras, police identified the vehicle involved as a silver 2010 Nissan Rogue, Illinois license plate number K60 0864.
