BENTON, Ill. (WJPF) – One week after a car crash claimed the lives of three Benton High School students, the community has raised tens of thousands of dollars for their families.

As of Monday morning, $43,921 had been donated to fund to help pay for funeral expenses.  The money will be split evenly between the three families.
