MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – A prominent Marion church has fired one of its pastors over inappropriate contact with children.

The non-denominational Cornerstone Church says Executive Pastor Tivo McCrary was terminated Friday after church leaders learned of McCrary’s “moral failure.”  In a statement, Cornerstone says McCrary committed “sins” against several teenage members of the congregation.

Cornerstone Church says they cooperating fully with authorities in the investigation.
