Monday the AFCA FCS Coaches’ Top 25 Poll was released.  The SIU Salukis did not crack the Top 25 but they did receive votes.  The Salukis received 26 votes in the poll, a far cry from #25 Florida A&M who received 70 points.

As most preseason polls have had it, #1 went to South Dakota State, who picked 24 of the 25 first place votes.  #2 North Dakota State received the final first place vote.

Other MVFC teams that at least received votes in the poll included#18 North Dakota, #20 Northern Iowa, Youngstown State, and Illinois State.

SEMO was given a favorable ranking of #11.
