BENTON, Ill. (WJPF) – Police in Benton had to break up a large fight over the purchase of a motorcycle with counterfeit money.

Police say after the dust settled on Joplin Street Wednesday night, Joshua Wilson, 21, was taken to jail on a forgery charge.

Police confiscated over $3,000 in counterfeit currency.
