John A. Logan College freshman right-handed pitcher Drew Pestka was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 18th round of the MLB Draft on Wednesday.

The Carterville native appeared in 15 games this past year with the Vols.  He picked up a 7-2 record, 3.69 ERA, and 85 strikeouts in 68 1/3 innings.

Pestka has not decided yet if he will sign with the Reds or return to Logan for his sophomore season.
