PINCKNEYVILLE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Pinckneyville couple has been charged with first degree murder in the death of their child.

Illinois State Police say Logan Hutchings, 21, and Sophia Kelley, 21, were the parents to a 3-month-old boy. The child died in June 2022 at a St. Louis hospital of injuries including a skull fracture and multiple broken ribs.

Hutchings and Kelly were arrested Tuesday on three counts each of first degree murder. They’re being held in the Washington County Jail on a $1 million bond.
