SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WJPF) – The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is now hiring summertime workers at state parks and historic sites.

Help is currently wanted at the Wayne Fitzgerrell State Recreation Area, Cave-in-Rock State Park, Mermet Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area, Fort de Chartres, Fort Kaskaskia, the World Shooting and Recreational Complex, and the Sahara Woods State Recreation Area

The seasonal jobs, performing routine maintenance and custodial duties, will last no more than 6 months.
