One injured, one arrested in connection to Harrisburg shooting

 

HARRISBURG, Ill. (WJPF) – One person has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Harrisburg.

Just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Harrisburg Police say shots were fired near the intersection of South Land and South Hobson Streets.

Responding officers found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the Harrisburg Medical Center then flown to a hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

About three hours later, police arrested Tyler Farmer in connection to the shooting. Farmer faces charges including aggravated battery with a firearm and unlawful possession of a weapon.
