Carbondale man arrested on trespassing, weapons charges

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbondale man was arrested early Saturday morning on trespassing and weapons charges.

Carbondale Police say after receiving a complaint, they found Charleton Patterson, 28, sitting inside of a vehicle parked in the 700 block of North Wall Street. Police say Patterson was armed with a handgun. 

Patterson was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon and criminal trespass. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
