Herrin man arrested for pulling a gun in road rage episode

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — A Herrin man was arrested after police say he pulled a gun during an episode of road rage in Carbondale.

It happened at about 10:20 a.m. Monday in the 1000 block of East Main Street.

Carbondale Police say Amari Ross, 20, was a passenger in the vehicle and displayed a gun to other motorists. The gun, police say, was stolen.

Ross was later arrested and charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a stolen firearm. He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
