MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (WJPF) — A man fishing near Paducah caught a hand grenade Monday.

Paducah Police say the man was fishing off the Clarks River Bridge near Sheehan Bridge Road when he reeled in the explosive.

The Paducah Police Bomb Squad safely detonated the explosive.
