Three dead, three hurt in Johnson County crash

JOHNSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — Three Vienna teenagers were killed in a crash early Sunday morning in Johnson County.

Three more teenagers were hurt.

The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. on Ozark Road, near the intersection of Locust Street. Illinois State Police say the vehicle left the road and hit a tree.

The driver, 18-year-old Jordan Davis, and two passengers, 17-year-old Brayden King and 15-year-old Aidan Baker, were killed.

Three 15-year-olds, Max Koehler of Vienna, Dylan Harris of Vienna, and Macie Turvold of Harrisburg, are in St. Louis hospitals.

The names of the underage victims were released by Vienna Superintendent Josh Stafford.

Illinois State Police continue to investigate.
