East St. Louis Public Library official indicted for fraud, embezzlement

The former director of the East St Louis Public library has been charged in a six count federal indictment including three counts of wire fraud and three counts of embezzlement.

According to a news release from the US Attorney’s Office, 47-year-old Marlon Bush took excess salary and charged personal purchases to the library’s credit card.

Bush faces a maximum of 90 years in prison if convicted.
